Outdoor Play
Here For You
Children need to remain active throughout the day; promoting outdoor play allows them to get fresh air and explore their environment more. Hands-on learning, the natural environment and loose parts in the outdoors stimulate children’s senses through what they hear, touch, see and feel. Thankfully, we here at PJCC have the space to promote and apply the idea.
Creative Projects
A Perfect Fit
Our Art Lessons and Creative Projects has been perfect for the kids. Art can help children learn and practice skills like patterning and cause and effect (i.e., “If I push very hard with a crayon the color is darker.”). They can also practice critical thinking skills by making a mental plan or picture of what they intend to create and following through on their plan.
Imaginative Play
What You Need
Creative, open-ended play with peers, teachers, and parents is how children learn to socially bond, respect others, communicate, and balance personal emotions with the emotions of others.
PJCC is blessed to have such creative staff and the tools (such as mini puppet theatre, toy house, kitchen sets, etc) needed to promote creative play times.
